I’m an experienced professional making a deliberate career change into publishing and editorial work.

 

Currently, I'm an Editorial & Public Relations Associate at Dickinson Publishing Group while pursuing an Associate degree in English. I’m building on years of experience in content, writing, team leadership, process development, and communication.

Although I am transitioning into publishing, my professional background has given me strong skills in organization, written communication, attention to detail, and managing multiple priorities independently. In my previous role, I worked with detailed processes, documentation, databases, and cross-functional teams, where accuracy and thoughtful communication were essential. I am eager to use my transferable skills while continuing to learn everything I can about the publishing industry.

 

I’m an avid reader who loves analyzing writing and discovering what makes a book work. I’m particularly interested in editorial, proofreading, and content development, and I’m excited to bring my existing skills into an industry I genuinely care about.
